What if no teacher is available?
You'll see it before it becomes a problem. If a request isn't filled within your chosen window, an allocator calls you with options. We never leave a request silently open.
Can I request a specific teacher?
Yes. Add teachers to your preferred list and they'll see your shifts first. You can also request one teacher directly.
How are rates set?
Your school has an agreed rate card, shown before you confirm any request. Rates are locked to each shift, so the invoice always matches what you approved.
How do ratings work?
After every day you rate the teacher and they rate your school, with stars and quick tags. Ratings are double-blind and pooled, and a score only shows after five. Safety concerns go to our safeguarding team, never into a score.
How does my school get The Better Us Project free?
Once your school completes its first 10 bookings through I Recruit (shifts actually worked), The Better Us Project whole-school wellbeing program is free for 12 months. We email you and our team sets up access. Book 200+ days of teaching shifts through I Recruit within that 12 months and it is renewed free for another year, every year. Full conditions are in our terms of use.
What about cancellations?
Cancel from the portal any time. Our cancellation terms are clear and agreed upfront. If a teacher cancels, we start finding a replacement straight away and tell you.
