Which services can use I Recruit?
Long day care and early learning centres, standalone and integrated kindergartens (including state-funded kinder and preschool programs), and services run by councils, not-for-profits and private providers. Our Melbourne-based team places educators Australia-wide.
What do you check before an educator gets an offer?
An ACECQA-approved qualification at the level the shift needs (Certificate III, Diploma, or an approved early childhood teaching degree for ECTs), state or territory registration for early childhood teachers (VIT, NESA, QCT and so on), the current child-safety check for the state, ACECQA-approved first aid including anaphylaxis and asthma management (such as HLTAID012), child safe training with a signed declaration, right to work and two references reviewed by a recruiter.
Does I Recruit keep my rooms in ratio?
Ratios and rostering stay your responsibility as the approved provider. I Recruit helps you keep rooms in ratio by filling gaps fast: you choose the room, age group, qualification level and shift times, and only educators who meet them get the offer.
Can I book openers and closers?
Yes. Set any start and finish time, such as a 6:30am opener or a closer through to 6:30pm, or split a long day across two educators.
Can I ask for the same educator again?
Yes. Favourite the educators your children and families know, and they get first look at your next request. You can also rate every shift.
Can our centre get The Better Us Project free?
Yes. The Better Us Project is a whole-centre wellbeing program designed for early learning centres too. Once your centre completes its first 10 bookings through I Recruit (shifts actually worked), it is free for 12 months. We email you and our team sets up access. Book 200+ days of educator shifts through I Recruit within that 12 months and it is renewed free for another year, every year. Full conditions are in our terms of use.
How is it billed?
You pay only for approved hours. One clear invoice a week covers every room and every educator, payable by bank transfer, card or BECS direct debit.
