Checked by people. Every time.
Child safety is the highest-stakes part of what we do. So there are no automated compliance decisions. Software tracks, reminds and pauses. People decide, before a single offer is sent.
NEXT RE-CHECK · 14 JAN 2027
Four checks. No shortcuts.
A teacher or educator reaches Ready to Work only when all four checks are complete and reviewed by a member of our compliance team. Miss one, and they can't receive an offer.
State registration (VIT, NESA, QCT…) checked for teachers and ECTs. ACECQA-approved or ES qualifications confirmed.
Citizenship or visa conditions confirmed before any offer is sent.
State child-safety check current, declaration signed. Approved first aid for early learning.
Two professional references, contacted and reviewed by a recruiter.
Safe on day one. Safe on day 300.
Expiry dates tracked automatically, with reminders. Expired means paused until a person verifies the renewal.
Documents are checked against the day of each shift, not just today.
Software reminds, flags and pauses. Only a trained person verifies or rejects a document.
Role-tailored questions, mandatory child-safety questions, and reminders at 24, 48 and 72 hours.
A Report a concern link on every booking goes to our designated safeguarding team, who can place a hold.
Every check, approval and override, in an append-only log: who, when, why.
Documents locked down. Accounts too.
Teachers trust us with their most sensitive paperwork. Here's how it's protected, and how long we keep it.
Uploads are scanned for viruses, and infected files are quarantined.
The platform, database and documents are hosted in Sydney.
Documents open through private links that expire after five minutes.
Required for our staff, available to every school user.
Records are kept for set periods, and a legal hold stops anything being deleted early.
The right registration. The right check.
Each state and territory has its own teacher registration authority and its own child-safety check. We verify the ones that apply where the shift is, and a person reviews every document.

Ratings that are fair, and safe.
Two-way ratings help schools and teachers find good fits, without ever replacing a proper safety report.
- Double-blind
Neither side sees the other's rating, so nobody rates in retaliation.
- Pooled and anonymous
A score only shows after five ratings. No single day defines anyone.
- Safety goes to people
A safety concern is never a star rating. It goes straight to our safeguarding team.
- Reviewed for fairness
Staff review patterns and outliers, so ratings stay honest and fair.
